I’m still alive

I’m always seeking inspiration in as many forms as possible. Rothko said that a picture must be miraculous and is deeply personal. I believe it should be the same with models and the image they convey to us in fashion.
A model’s performance should be as unrepeatable as the weather or emotions.
The encounter between image and viewer, photographer and model is ultimately private and defies explanation.

It all turns to color

Shattered from the sleepless nights and bloodsucking of Paris and Milan shows, I crawl on hands and knees to Gare du Nord and escape to London to see best friend Lady Harrington. She is one of the most incredible women I know and I always feel better with her in my company.

An Introduction

One of my best friends helped me realize that I have a voice that extends beyond the confines of the modeling agency in which I work; that there is a behemothic audience out there that is looking for information and guidance in the modeling world. And that this mob is looking for someone to listen to, with pitchforks raised and fists held high. Thousands of kids are out there aspiring to be models and want to know how to do it. Some just want to know what its like to live through my eyes as an agent, to experience what its like to be backstage at a Versace show or in the room when a new model is told that he or she got their first campaign.

My friend told me “You’re an Agent at Wilhelmina Models in New York City, the fashion capital of the world. You’re on TV, you travel the world not only looking for models but also speaking to kids worldwide. People know who you are and want to know what you have to say.  You have so much to share.”

So I created this site for you, you pretty things.
